Viking Ingvar

Experience the heart of Russia on this traditional cruising vessel. Constructed at the renowned Boizenburg Shipyard on the Elbe River in Germany, Viking Ingvar is part of the 27-ship “302” series, designed to offer visitors the very best Russia cruise ship experience. Built in 1990, Viking Ingvar was renovated in 2011.

Reception

The reception area is on the main deck, adjacent to Cat E and Cat F staterooms.

Sun Deck

Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery as you sail past cities, towns and landscapes of Russia. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. There is an access way from the sun deck to the bridge.

Svir Restaurant

The Svir Restaurant is one of two restaurants aboard the ship. With seating for 70 passengers at small tables designed to accommodate 2, 4 or 6 guests, this is a smaller and more intimate setting than Neva Restaurant on the middle deck. The dining room is open seating, so you are free to sit where you like—a great way to make new friends. The atmosphere is casual but elegant, with high-quality table linens, china, cutlery and glassware.

Neva Restaurant

The Neva Restaurant is one of two restaurants aboard the ship. With seating for 154 passengers, this is a larger and more lively setting than Svir Restaurant on the upper deck. The dining room is open seating, so you are free to sit where you like—a great way to make new friends. The atmosphere is casual but elegant, with high-quality table linens, china, cutlery and glassware.

Sky Bar

This enclosed bar on the sun deck level seats 80 passengers at small tables designed to accommodate 2, 4 or 6 guests. A fantastic location for relaxing with friends while enjoying the scenery through panoramic windows.

Panorama Bar

This enclosed bar at the forward end of the upper deck level seats 50 passengers and is an excellent spot for watching the scenery, especially during arrival at one of your exciting destinations.

Library

The library has comfortable seating and excellent reading light. Our ships’ libraries carry approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Located at the foredeck, the library also offers excellent scenic views.

Sauna

The ship has a sauna located on the lower deck.

Promenade Decks

The ship has three walk-around, open air promenade decks. You can watch the scenery from every possible vantage point or enjoy a romantic stroll around the ship any time of the day or evening.
