Ko Samui
Ko Samui, Thailand’s third largest island is surrounded by 80 smaller islands. Its location is 420 miles south of Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand.

The population of Ko Samui is for the most part concentrated in the port town of Na Thon. Located on the western side of the island, facing the mainland, Na Thon is the oldest town on the island. There is one main road that encircles Ko Samui with several side roads leading off into the interior; the main road is now paved all around. Beaches and temples scattered around the island are the main attraction. Na Thon is now a busy tourist town with hotels, good seafood restaurants and a variety of shops.
