Formed in 2002 by luxury cruise industry veterans Joe Watters and Frank Del Rio, Oceania Cruises is the world’s only upper premium cruise line. Cuisine, Comfort, Service and outstanding value are the pillars that define Oceania Cruises’ five-star product and have positioned the line as the cruise company of choice for travelers seeking a truly refined and casually elegant travel experience.

Our intimate and luxurious ships allow you to explore the world in unequalled style and comfort. Sophisticated, stylish and distinctly mid-size, you’ll find the onboard atmosphere is extremely convivial, and with an unrivaled level of personalized service as a result of us having two staff members for every three guests.

As the leader in destination cruising, Oceania Cruises sails to more than 330 ports around the globe. Itineraries are unique in that they call on the perfect mix of must-see marquee and boutique, off-the-beaten-path ports. Multiple overnight calls afford an in-depth, enriching destination experience and allow travelers to immerse themselves in the cuisine, culture and history of the ports we visit.

In 2011 and 2012, Oceania Cruises will introduce the highly-anticipated Marina and Riviera, the first ship designed specifically for epicureans. They will join their acclaimed, award-winning sister ships Regatta, Insignia and Nautica in offering the finest cuisine at sea, warm and personalized service and a destination experience that is second to none.

Oceania Cruises, with headquarters in Miami, is owned by Prestige Cruise Holdings. Prestige Cruise Holdings was formed in 2007 to manage select assets in Apollo Management’s cruise investment portfolio and is the market leader in the Upper Premium and Luxury segments of the cruise industry with nearly 4,000 berths between the Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands, a number the company expects will grow to approximately 6,500 berths by mid-2012.

Ships

Our ships radiate warmth and character among their true elegance. All boast exquisite appointments and details one would only expect to find in a luxurious, private estate. With up to six open seating, gourmet restaurants to choose from, dining is a central highlight of the Oceania Cruises Experience and guests may dine when, where and with whom they wish. The famed Canyon Ranch SpaClub offers not only spa and fitness, but renowned wellness and lifestyle enrichment and their famed Canyon Ranch cuisine at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodations are equally alluring and true designer showcases. Featuring rich Wenge walnut paneling, supple designer fabrics and sumptuous residential furnishings; they are a study in comfort and elegance. Marina and Riviera are the only ships at sea to features suites designed and furnished by Ralph Lauren Home and noted interior designer Dakota Jackson.

The comment was not intended to be anonymous. If any one else found glass in oautmeal or any other problems my name is Mike @ Mike Feldman7@gmail. com. By the way, the cruise cost us $1000. per day 3 to 5 days of no vacation of worry is very restful .I feel I feal that the cost of the cruise for those days should be credited

Ociania is fine unless you have a problem, tere is no one home. on a recent 30 day cruise, my wife swallowed broken glass that was in the Oatmeal at breakfast. She had some in her mouth that she kept to show the maƮtre dwho was not happy and offered a bottle of wine. We asked to see the hotel Mgr who sent Food & Beveridge Mrg,who also was shocked & promised to ask ship Dr if any problem. He promised & reask Ship Drport back. The Dr. said no problem with asking to see my wife & a bottle of wine again was offered. The Dr called asked my wife how she felt & was told that her stool was very dark Not sure if it blood Dr suggested she watch it for a few days. He never asked to see . Guest services after checking offered $500 ON NEXT CRUISE within 1 year. I asked to see report on how the oatmeal had broken glass but were told can't see it. Next I hear from Sr Director RISK MANAGEMENT. I guess he also said no to report because of insce or possible Legal action & offered $1000 for next

we are travel agents that sell over a million dollars of all the better cruise lines, and have been lied to by the staff at Oceania. They told our clients, and us, that they would get an on board credit for referrring a new client; and now they deny that they ever said it. It's hard to deal with a cruise line that lies to its clients.

My husband and I just returned from a Baltic Cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise line. We were not told that it was geared to "seniors", and we were probably in the minority and we are both 60. There were no children on this cruise. The service and food were excellent!!! The itinerary was good although the excursions could have a shopping element built into each of them....there was very little shopping and we were disappointed by that. We also think that Oceania could come up with better liquor packages ....we really liked the wine package offered on Holland America. We enjoyed the smaller ship, much easier to meet people. Overall we enjoyed it enough to book another cruise in the future.

I just made my booking yesterday and staying in a penthouse suite...I am a little nervous now after reading the comments that this line is catered towards seniors (or supposed to be). Not that I mind but my wife and I are in middle to late 30's and don't want to be the youngest on board!

I am in my late sixties and have been on 3 cruises with Oceania since it's inception in 2002. Although I don't mind children cruising with me, I have never seen any on my trips. I must admit that I have gone on 12 day or longer cruises which generally don't appeal to young working people with families. I don't go on a cruise to "cruise", but to see wonderful, new places. There are no extravaganza shows, no midnight buffets, no rock climbing walls, no chocolate fountains, etc. and that suits me. There are many other options for those who want these things. What you have in Oceania are tastefully decorated ships with upscale no charge restaurants and great personal service that go to fantastic places with very few days "at sea". All this for a relatively reasonable price. I do see a lot of people in my age group, but I see 40-50 year old couples, too. It's a nice mix. I recommend Oceania to everyone that I know.

My last Oceania cruise on the Regatta had loads of kids on the ship with nothing to do other than run all over the place. How can one claim to attract "Seniors" when they are a minority on the ship?

@David, in fairness to Oceania, this could have been an isolated incident. The obvious question is, was Oceania aware of the charges and the revokation of the license.

Oceania ships are fine but the medical services are disgraceful. Do not go on one of these if you are old or infirm. The doctor on our cruise last December had his licence revoked in the state of Tenessee as he "Was a danger to the citizens of that State". Charges were beyond belief, He was kept on by Oceania - practicing on a licence from India!

How is your "Seniors" cruising justifiable when there is no exclusivity for senior?. There is no restriction as to who sails on any cruise except for the cruise line's regulations, unless I am mistaken. I don't understand your ad to attract "Seniors" unless you offer some micro benefit within the cruise, which would seem to be of negligible advantage. What am I not understanding? Thank you.
